Client Feedback

I had the pleasure of completing the Barista Bootcamp with the Scottish Barista Academy, and it was an outstanding experience. Jim provided excellent training that was both practical and inspiring. Thanks to his guidance, not only did I develop my own skills, but our entire staff also benefited from their expertise. We now have the knowledge and confidence to consistently serve the highest quality coffee to our customers. I’m very grateful for their support and would highly recommend the academy to anyone looking to take their coffee skills to the next level As a result of the course, we were able to make our dream a reality and open up Nines on Cumbernauld Rd.

We’re so grateful to have learned from one of the best—and thanks to Jim, our team is now fully equipped (and buzzing!) to serve you the best brews possible when Harris & Bo Coffee opens its window. From espresso skills to perfecting the milk pour, we soaked it all in and can’t wait to put it into practice. If you’re ever looking to seriously up your coffee game, we couldn’t recommend Jim and the team at Scottish Barista Academy more highly. Thanks again, Jim!

— The Harris & Bo Team

I've completed a wide variety of courses with Jim at the barista academy, all have been enjoyable and informative. He's also been a great person to lean on and ask for advice while setting up our own business, so I can't recommend him enough if you're looking to gain new knowledge and insight with anything coffee

I recently completed a barista course with the Scottish Barista Academy, and it has been an incredible experience. The training was thorough, hands-on, and inspiring — covering everything from perfecting espresso extraction to milk texturing. Jims knowledge is phenomenal and genuinely passionate about coffee, which made the whole process both enjoyable and confidence-building. This course has been a huge help in preparing me to open my own coffee pod, Harris and Bo Coffee. The skills, tips, and industry insights I gained have given me the confidence to create a quality-focused business. I’d highly recommend the Scottish Barista Academy to anyone looking to take their coffee knowledge and barista skills to the next level.
